Author Nathan Lowell and More!

We have the award winning author Nathan Lowell on this week!  We chat with him about his books and life as a science fiction and fantasy author.  Nathan also shares a book recommendation of his own with us.  Dave talks about the impending Denver teacher strike and we all get a little fired up.  Amy, our Denver Librarian, calls in again this week!

In “Library Corner” Amy recommends books about birdwatching based on last week’s read of William Shaw’s The Birdwatcher. She recommends:  The Big Year by Mark ObmascikSteve Burrows  “Birder Murder Mystery”, Christine Goff an author with five birder mysteries and the birder mysteries by Ann Cleves.  Also recommended is a memoir: H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald.
